Can I train any dog?  The question is really...Can I train people who own dogs? 

Basic behavior theory coupled with positive reinforcement techniques are used to change behavior where I am teaching you how to interact with your dog.

Am I qualified? 

Yes and here are my qualifications...BA in Psychology from University of Kansas; Two years trainer/area trainer at PetSmart; Full member of Association of Pet Dog Trainers; Certified evaluator AKC Canine Good Citizen; Contributing author Metro Pet Magazine.

Pricing below is for KC Metro Vicinity (within 30 miles)...if outside the Metro - call:

Private, in-home instruction: Includes a FREE 30 minute consultation, either over the phone or at a location agreed upon by both parties.  The instruction consists of no less than two one-hour sessions tailored to the specific needs of you and your best friend!  I will not train less than two sessions since I believe there should always be a follow-up session with the trainer. $160 for the two sessions; each additional hour session $80.  Book 5 one-hour sessions and get one free!!! (Additional dogs in same household at a 50% discount.) 

Professional Dog Walking and Consultation:  Five one-hour sessions to get leash walking under control.  Four sessions with me walking the dog and teaching techniques.  The final session is with the owner and dog together.  $300 (25% discount off of hourly rate.)

Potty Training Evaluation:  Develop an action plan for success in a one-hour session.  $80 in-home training.
